The Kira quilt lends itself to using 10 inch layer cakes, or you can select your own fabrics, or use both to make a stunning quilt. Instructions include which size quilt you want to make, selections include rib, lap, full, queen and king size. The sample is the lap size and uses layer cakes and yardage for the background fabric. The choice is yours and the technique is easy to master. This quilt uses the Stripology Squared ruler or you can use June Tailor's Shape Cut ruler. Any level quilter will have fun seeing how this quilt is made and comes together. Any layer cakes laying around? Get them out and let's use them for a fun day of sewing and inspiration!
