The Rayon Blouse is a continuation of out Beginners Class series. As with the other classes, you will be adding more sewing techniques to your repertoire with this class. These sewing techniques include: Lap Zipper, Set in Sleeve, Pleats or Waist Darts, Sewing with Rayon Fabrics, and Gathered Neckline with Bias Band. The pattern Butterick B5988 offers 4 sleeve lengths and 2 blouse lengths. Sample blouse in the store is style D.

Scrap Therapy Tote

This is a 2-day class since even though this is a confident beginner to advance level, has many parts which take time and I want you to make sure you go home with a finished or very close to finished tote that can go everywhere and hold a lot of weight, too. The supply list has the cutting instructions for the class and I will give you the pattern at the class.  I have made this tote 3 times and it is my favorite for taking "stuff" for classes because it is roomy, and I don't worry about how heavy it is, this tote can take it.  Any level quilter is welcome, and you will learn cool tips and tricks as well as having fun!  Come join us to make this tote that is well worth it and you will use it all the time.

This is part 4 in the series and students will make the last set of (3) blocks. There will be a total of 12 blocks with this class; then there will be a finishing class for sashing strips, borders and binding. In this session students will work on precision stitching and machine applique. These blocks are easy construction with stunning results. "Flights of Fancy", "Twisted Pinwheel", and "Heart of Hearts" blocks are this months featured blocks. Patterns will be given at the time of class. All level quilters are invited for learning techniques and having fun!
